ADDITION THROUGH NUMBER LINE -

This is the actual methodology by which you can understand the actual logic of the addition. Please go through every step of the method, try to understand well, and then try for test paper or copy.

Addition Of Two Numbers on a Number line -

1) EXAMPLE -  4 + 5 = 9

METHOD- Start count from ‘0’ and jump to mark ‘4‘ first. Again start jump to 5 places ahead. Now you have reached at ‘9‘ (Answer)

2) EXAMPLE -   6 + 5  = 11 

METHOD - Start count from ‘0’ and jump to mark ‘6‘ first. Again start jump to 5 places ahead. Now you have reached at ‘11‘ (Answer)

3) EXAMPLE -  4 +  4 + 3 = 11

METHOD - Start count from ‘0’ and jump to mark ‘4‘ first. Again start jump to 4 places ahead and again start jump to 3 places ahead. Now you have reached at ‘11‘ (Answer) 

4) EXAMPLE -  3 + 5 + 4 = 12

METHOD - Start count from ‘0’ and jump to mark ‘3‘ first. Again start jump to 5 places ahead and again start jump to 4 places ahead. Now you have reached at ‘12‘  (Answer)
