Perimeter of a Rectangle – 

The perimeter of a rectangle PQRS

= The sum of the lengths of the sides

=  2 X length + 2 X breadth                                                  

=  2 (Length + Breadth)

P = 2(L + B),  L = (P/2 – B),  B = (P/2 – L) 

Where, P = perimeter, L = length, B = breadth

Area of Rectangle –

The area(A) of a rectangle is equal to the product of its length (L) and breadth (B)

Area of rectangle (A) =  length (L) X breadth (B)

A = L X B,  L  =  A / B,   B = A / L
