IMPORTANT RULES FOR POLYGON

1) An interior angle of a regular polygon of ‘n’ sides = 1/n (2n - 4) right angle

2) An exterior angle of a regular polygon of ‘n’ sides = 360⁰/n

3) The number of sides of a regular polygon = 360⁰/ an exterior angle

4) At a vertex of a polygon, exterior angle + adjacent interior angle = 180⁰

5) The sum of the interior angles of a polygon of ‘n’ sides = (2n – 4) right angles = (2n – 4) X 90⁰

6) An interior angle of a regular n-gon = (2n – 4)/n right angles.

5) The sum of the exterior angles of any convex polygon = 360⁰

6) An interior angle of a regular polygon of ‘n’ sides = (2n – 4)/n right angles.

7) Each exterior angle of a regular n-gon = 360⁰ / n
