ADDITION OF LIKE TERM OF ALGEBRAIC EXPRESSION
Hopefully so far we are well aware about addition of algebraic expression, but here we will learn some advance algebraic expression. I think, after this lesson you will have a very good concept about algebraic addition.
Addition of like term – to add like terms, we should add their numerical coefficient.
Example.1) 12x²y⁵ + 8x²y⁵ + 10x²y⁵ = ( 12 + 8 + 10 ) x²y⁵ = 30 x²y⁵
Example.2) 8 a²b + 15 a²b + 20 a²b + 5 a²b = ( 8 + 15 + 20 + 5 ) a²b
= 48 a²b
