DIVIDE THE QUANTITY BY FRACTION OBTAINED FROM PERCENTAGE
If we would like to calculate a quantity from a given percentage of the quantity, then we have to express the given percentage as a fraction and divide the quantity by the fraction.
1) If 75 % of a number is 150, then find the whole number
Ans.) as per the given condition 75 % of a number is 150
Then 100 % or full number would be = 150 ÷ 75/100

2) If 25 % of a number is 40, then find the whole number
Ans.) as per the given condition 25 % of a number is 40
Then 25 % or full number would be = 40 ÷ 25/100
