RULES FOR FUNDAMENTAL OPERATION ON WHOLE NUMBER
1) If, x & y are whole numbers then x + y is a whole numbers.
2) If, x & y are whole numbers then x + y = y + x
3) If, x, y & z are whole numbers then ( x + y ) + z = x + ( y + z ) = x + y + z
4) If, a & b are whole numbers then result of a X b is also a whole number.
5) If, a & b are whole numbers then a X b = b X a
6) If, a, b & c are whole numbers then a X ( b X c ) = (a X b ) X c = a X b X c
7) If, a, b & c are whole numbers then a X ( b + c ) = ( a X b ) + ( a X c )
8) If, a, b & c are whole numbers then a ( b – c ) = ( a X b ) – ( a X c )
9) Dividend = Divisor X Quotient + Remainder
