PRIME NUMBER

Prime Number The number those are only two factors or divided by 1 and the number itself is called prime number.

Example- 2, 3, 5, 7, 11, 13, 17, 19, 23, 29, ………………..

Prime Number between 1 to 10 – 2, 3, 5, 7

Prime Number between 11 to 50 – 11, 13, 17, 19, 23, 29, 31, 37, 39, 41, 43, 47.

Prime Number between 51 to 100 – 53, 59, 61, 67, 71, 73, 79, 83, 89, 97.

Above all numbers between 1 to 100 are divided only by 1 and the number itself.

Factorization –

In this method, every time we will try to divide by the smallest prime number and that will continue until we will reach 1.

Suppose we have 48, we have to find the factorization via divide method-

So, prime factorization of 48 is 2 x 2 x 2 x 2 x 3
