FINDING FACTORS THROUGH PRIME FACTORIZATION METHOD -

PRIME FACTORIZATION METHOD :-

· In this method, we divide the number with its smallest prime factor.

· Keep on dividing till we get one as a quotient. We must use PRIME NUMBERS ONLY.

Example.1) Write the prime factorization of 210.

(You should multiply all the factors to verify your answer)

So, the factors of 210 are 210 = 2 X 3 X 5 X 7 X 1    (Ans.)

Example.2) Write the prime factorization of 270.

(You should multiply all the factors to verify your answer)

So, the factors of 270 are 270 = 2 X 3 X 5 X 3 X 3 X 1      (Ans.)
