SHAPE

RECTANGLE

This shape is of Rectangles. It has 4 sides and 4 corners. Each 2 (Two) opposite sides of rectangles are parallel and equal in length.

SQUARE

This shape is of Square. It has 4 sides and 4 corners. All 4 sides are equal in length of each other.

ISOSCELES TRIANGLE

This shape is of an isosceles triangle, it has 3 sides and 3 corners, in 3 sides 2 sides are equal in length.

PARALLELOGRAM

This shape is of Parallelogram. It’s a quadrilateral whose opposite sides are both parallel and equal in length. It has 4 sides and 4 corners.

REGULAR  PENTAGON

This shape is of Pentagon. It’s a five sided polygon ( polygon – A closed plane figure bounded by straight sides). It has 5 sides and five corners.

HEXAGON

This shape is of Hexagon. It’s a six sided polygon ( polygon – A closed plane figure bounded by straight sides ). It has six sides and six corners.

TRAPEZOID

This shape is of Trapezoid. It’s a quadrilateral with two parallel sides, but it’s other sides are not parallel. It has 4 sides and 4 corners.

DIAMOND

This shape is of Diamond, it has 4 sides/edges and 4 corners. Opposite sides are parallel of each other.

CUBE

This shape is of Cube. It is three-dimensional shape with six square or rectangular sides or it is a hexahedron with six equal squares. it has 6 faces 12 sides/edges and 8 corners.

OVAL

This shape is of Oval. Oval has only one face but do not have any corners and edge.

CAN –

This shape is of Can. Can has two face but do not have any corners and edge.

RECTANGLE -

The above shape is of Rectangles. It has 4 sides and 4 corners. Each 2 (Two) opposite sides of rectangles are parallel and equal in length.

SQUARE -

This shape is of Square. It has 4 sides and 4 corners. All 4 sides are equal in length of each other.

POINT

This is a point, you can make it by pen or pencil by the tip. It is shown as very much small but show a definite position and it is to be drown very carefully and marked as ‘P’ .

STRAIGHT LINE

Above line is a geometrical straight line with both side arrowhead which confirms that we can stretch it longer on both the sides. We can mark both side of the straight line by AB or MN or XY on any alphabet. Line has no limit that’s mean it has no endpoint or definite length. Line can be drawn in any direction, it mat horizontal, vertical or slanting straight line.

Above line is a geometrical straight line with both side arrowhead which confirms that we can stretch it longer on both the side.

LINE SEGMENT

Straight line between two point are called Line Segment, it has no arrowhead. The point X & Y are called endpoint of the line segment and XY is the line which can be measured by scale or tape and it has no thickness and has a definite length.

RAY

In the above picture PQ is a line which you can say as Ray and it has a endpoint that is Q. The point P is called the initial point of ray PQ.

INTERSECTING POINT

This above picture we can see that, two lines MN & EF are intersecting or crossing each other at point ‘P’.

So, these are intersecting lines and ‘P’ is called point of intersection.

CURVE LINES

Curve lines like any way you can draw, it is just fun.
