BEFORE-AFTER-BETWEEN

Before, After, Between –

We have already learned the concept of before, after, and between in the previous classes. Here we shall revise what comes before and after any number.

There are some examples are given below for your better understanding –

Example.1) Number 455

To find the before number of a given number we have to subtract 1 from a given number and to find the after number we have to add 1 with the given number. So, the number before 455 is = 455 – 1 = 454

And the number after 455 is = 455 + 1 = 456

So, the numbers before and after 455 are 454 & 456 respectively.  (Ans.)

Example.2)  Number 237

To find the before number of a given number we have to subtract 1 from the given number and to find the after number we have to add 1 with the given number. So, the number before 237 is = 237 – 1 = 236

And the number after 237 is = 237 + 1 = 238

So, the numbers before and after 237 are 236 & 238 respectively.  (Ans.)

Example.3)  Number 753

To find the before number of a given number we have to subtract 1 from a given number and to find the after number we have to add 1 with the given number. So, the number before 753 is = 753 – 1 = 752

And the number after 753 is = 753 + 1 = 754

So, the numbers before and after 753 are 752 & 754 respectively. (Ans.)

Example.4)  Number 356

To find the before number of a given number we have to subtract 1 from a given number and to find the after number we have to add 1 with the given number. So, the number before 356 is = 356 – 1 = 355

And the number after 356 is = 356 + 1 = 357

So, the numbers before and after 356 are 355 & 357 respectively. (Ans.)

Example.5)  Number 486

To find the before number of a given number we have to subtract 1 from a given number and to find the after number we have to add 1 with the given number. So, the number before 486 is = 486 – 1 = 485

And the number after 486 is = 486 + 1 = 487

So, the numbers before and after 486 are 485 & 487 respectively. (Ans.)
