SUBTRACTION OF ZERO
SUBTRACTION OF ‘ZERO’
If we subtract zero with any number, then the result of the subtraction will be the number itself. Suppose if we want to subtract zero ‘0’ with any number ‘N’ then the result of subtraction will be N - 0 = N. There are some example are given below for your better understanding –
Example.1) 10 - 0 = 10
Or, 10

In above, subtraction we can observe that, zero has been subtracted from given number 10 and the obtained number from the subtraction would be the same given number 10, that’s mean nothing has been subtracted from given number 10. So, the result of the given subtraction would be 10. (Ans.)
Example.2) 25 - 0 = 0

In above, subtraction we can observe that, zero has been subtracted from given number 25 and the obtained number from the subtraction would be the same given number 25, that’s mean nothing has been subtracted from given number 25. So, the result of the given subtraction would be 25. (Ans.)
Example.3) 78 - 0 = 78

In above, subtraction we can observe that, zero has been subtracted from given number 78 and the obtained number from the subtraction would be the same given number 78, that’s mean nothing has been subtracted from given number 78. So, the result of the given subtraction would be 78.

In above, subtraction we can observe that, zero has been subtracted from given number 150 and the obtained number from the subtraction would be the same given number 150, that’s mean nothing has been subtracted from given number 150. So, the result of the given subtraction would be 150. (Ans.)
Example.5) 186792 – 0 = 186792

In above, subtraction we can observe that, zero has been subtracted from given number 186792 and the obtained number from the subtraction would be the same given number 186792, that’s mean nothing has been subtracted from given number 186792. So, the result of the given subtraction would be 186792. (Ans.)
Now for better understanding we will subtract zero with any given number of object. Subtraction of zero ‘0’ with any given number of object or particle means nothing has been subtracted or reduced from the said given number of object or particle.
In above picture zero ‘0’ has been subtracted from four zebra, subtraction of zero means nothing has been subtracted or reduced, so the obtained number of object remains the same with number which is four zebra.
In above picture zero ‘0’ has been subtracted with five giraffe, subtraction of zero means nothing has been subtracted or reduced, so the obtained number of object remain the same as given number of giraffe which is five giraffe.
In above picture zero ‘0’ has been subtracted from eight tigers, subtraction of zero means nothing has been subtracted or reduced from the given number of object, so the obtained number of object remain the same as the given number of object which is eight tigers.
